Event Venue Rental Agreement
This Event Venue Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into electronically between Ramble Gallery LLC, operating as The Ramble Gallery ("Gallery," "We," or "Us"), and the individual or entity completing the booking ("Renter," "You"). By checking the acceptance box and completing the booking on this website, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by all terms of this Agreement.
1. Venue
The Ramble Gallery
375 NORTH MAIN STREET BOUNTIFUL UTAH 84010
The Venue includes the gallery exhibition space and any other areas expressly approved in writing by the Gallery. No other areas are included unless specified.
2. Event Details
Event Name: As provided at booking
Event Date: As provided at booking
Rental Time: As provided at booking (including setup and teardown)
Expected Attendance: As provided at booking
Renter agrees that setup, event activities, and teardown will occur strictly within the reserved rental time.
3. Rental Fee & Payment
Rental Fee: As listed at booking
Deposit: Non‑refundable unless otherwise stated
Balance Due: Prior to or on the event date, as specified at booking
Failure to remit payment by the stated deadlines may result in cancellation without refund.
4. Use of Space
Renter agrees to:
Use the Venue solely for the agreed‑upon event purpose
Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
Not exceed the maximum occupancy set by the Gallery or local code
Not damage walls, floors, artwork, fixtures, or equipment
No nails, screws, adhesives, tape, or fasteners may be applied to walls or surfaces without prior written approval.
5. Artwork & Exhibitions
The Gallery may have artwork on display during the event. Renter acknowledges that:
Artwork may not be moved, touched, or altered
Renter is financially responsible for any damage caused by guests, vendors, or contractors
6. Food, Beverage & Alcohol
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted if approved in advance
Alcohol Policy:
Alcohol may be present at private events where attendance is limited to invited guests and no alcohol is sold, offered for sale, or furnished in connection with admission.
In such cases, guests may bring and consume their own alcohol (BYOB), provided all consumption complies with applicable Utah state and local laws.
If alcohol will be sold, provided, or furnished in exchange for any form of consideration (including ticketed admission, donations, or bundled event access), the Renter must obtain a Utah Single Event Permit or other applicable license and provide proof of such permit to the Gallery no later than seven (7) days prior to the event.
The Gallery does not provide alcohol, bartending services, or alcohol permits.
Renter is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all alcohol-related laws, including age restrictions, service practices, and liability arising from alcohol consumption.
No open flames, candles, fog machines, or hazardous materials are permitted without written approval.
7. Vendors & Equipment
All vendors (caterers, musicians, DJs, rental companies, etc.) must:
Be approved in advance
Load in and out within the rental period
Carry their own insurance if required
The Gallery reserves the right to deny access to unapproved vendors.
8. Gallery-Provided Equipment
If the Renter elects to use equipment provided by the Gallery in lieu of supplying their own, the following terms apply:
Available Equipment: Gallery-provided equipment may include, but is not limited to, tables, chairs, audio system(s), microphones, speakers, cables, and related accessories, as specified at booking.
Condition & Use: All equipment is provided in good working condition. Renter agrees to use equipment only for its intended purpose and in a reasonable, careful manner.
Restrictions: Gallery-provided equipment may not be moved outside the Venue, altered, modified, or connected to unauthorized devices without prior approval.
Supervision: Only the Gallery or individuals approved by the Gallery may adjust, operate, or troubleshoot Gallery audio/visual equipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Damage or Loss: Renter is fully responsible for any loss of, or damage to, Gallery-provided equipment caused by Renter, guests, vendors, or contractors. Repair or replacement costs will be billed to the Renter.
No Warranty: The Gallery makes no guarantee that equipment will meet specific technical or production needs beyond basic functionality.
9. Noise & Conduct
Renter agrees to:
Maintain reasonable noise levels
End amplified sound at the time specified by the Gallery
Ensure all guests behave in a respectful and non‑disruptive manner
The Gallery reserves the right to terminate the event without refund if conduct jeopardizes safety, property, or reputation.
9. Cleaning & Damage
Renter shall return the Venue in the same condition as received. Excessive cleaning or repairs will be billed to Renter.
Renter is responsible for all damage to the Venue, artwork, or equipment caused by Renter, guests, or vendors.
10. Insurance & Liability
Renter assumes all risk associated with the event. The Gallery is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Gallery, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the event.
11. Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing
Deposits are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated
The Gallery reserves the right to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances; in such case, amounts paid will be refunded
12. Force Majeure
The Gallery shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, government orders, or emergencies.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah.
14. Electronic Acceptance
By clicking the checkbox labeled “I have read and agree to the Event Venue Rental Agreement”, Renter:
Acknowledges electronic execution of this Agreement
Agrees this action constitutes a legally binding signature
Confirms authority to enter into this Agreement
